No contracts required. You purchase the GPS tracker hardware outright and pay for your tracking platform subscription yearly (or monthly for fleets). You own the device and can cancel the subscription anytime without penalties.
The GPS tracker is installed in your vehicle and connects to cell towers to transmit location data to our secure servers. You can view your vehicle's real-time location, trip history, and receive alerts via our web platform or mobile apps (Android & iPhone). The tracker works 24/7 across South Africa.
Yes. The OBD Mini plugs directly into your car's OBD port and takes 30 seconds to install - no tools or wiring required. Hardwired trackers (4G900L, FMC920, FMC880, FMB140) require connection to your vehicle's power supply. You can install these yourself with our guides, or arrange professional installation through any auto electrician.
All features are included with your subscription: real-time GPS tracking, trip history and playback, geofencing with entry/exit alerts, over-speeding alerts, power disconnect notifications, driving reports for SARS logbooks, mobile apps (Android & iPhone), sub-account management, and email/WhatsApp notifications. There are no paywalls or feature restrictions.
Yes, our GPS trackers work anywhere in South Africa with cellular coverage. The devices use 4G LTE networks with automatic 2G fallback for continuous tracking. Our servers are locally based in South Africa for fast, reliable performance.
Unlike Cartrack and Netstar, you own the GPS tracker hardware (no leasing), there are no contracts (cancel anytime), and all platform features are included without paywalls. You have full control of installations and can manage devices in-house without relying on their technicians. Our pricing is transparent with no hidden fees.
Stolen Vehicle Recovery is an optional monitoring service (R480/year) where a 24/7 control room monitors your tracker for theft indicators like battery disconnects or towing. If your vehicle is stolen or hijacked, you call the control room and they coordinate recovery efforts with SAPS and their nationwide recovery team.
Yes. You can add unlimited vehicles to your account. Each vehicle needs its own GPS tracker and subscription. You can create sub-accounts with different access levels for drivers, managers, or staff - perfect for fleet management or long-term rentals.
GPS tracking is accurate to within 5-10 meters under normal conditions. Accuracy can be affected by factors like tall buildings, tunnels, or underground parking. Once the vehicle returns to open sky, tracking resumes automatically with full accuracy.
You receive an immediate power disconnect alert via mobile app, email, or WhatsApp (depending on your notification settings). The last known location is stored and visible on the platform. If you have Stolen Vehicle Recovery, the 24/7 control room is automatically notified and will contact you.
Yes. Our Cape Town-based support team is available 8am-5pm weekdays via WhatsApp (083 399 9937) and email. We assist with platform setup, alert configuration, reports, password resets, and technical queries. For Cape Town installations, we can arrange same/next-day professional installation. Nationwide installations can be done by any auto electrician.
